Students have boycotted classes at Dhaka University (DU) amid protests being carried out by major panels who participated in the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (Ducsu) polls. Earlier in the day, Chhatra League members gathered near the vice-chancellor's residence, protesting the results of the Dhaka University Central Student Union (Ducsu) election. The much-awaited elections for the Dhaka University Central Students' Union and its hall unions were held on Monday. Quota reform movement leader Nurul Haq Nur was elected Vice-President of Dhaka University Central Students' Union (Ducsu) in Monday’s elections. Bangladesh Chhatra League General Secretary Golam Rabbani won the post of General Secretary of Ducsu, and Saddam Hussain won assistant general secretary.
