EACC headquarters /HANDOUTThe Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has arrested a former judge over an alleged Sh10.4 million bribery scheme linked to an ongoing commercial dispute before the High Court. The commission said the former judge was arrested alongside an advocate of the High Court and two other suspects as detectives moved to disrupt the alleged bribery scheme. The suspects are being held at the EACC Integrity Centre Police Station in Nairobi as investigators finalise processing and prepare the next steps in the case. EACC said the suspects are expected to undergo further processing on Tuesday as investigations continue. EACC is a public body established under Section 3(1) of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission Act, 2011.
