The Election Commission (EC) has stated that carrying or transferring another person’s National Identity Card (NID) is prohibited. According to the National Identity Card Registration Act 2010, carrying or transferring another person’s NID is not permitted. The Election Commission has urged all citizens and organizations to refrain from engaging in these activities. According to the Election Commission, the total number of voters in the country stands at 127,695,183. Under the revised election schedule, election campaigning began on Thursday and will continue until 7:30am on February 10.
