The ECB have set up a new equality code of conduct as part of their inclusion and diversity drive for the sport. It is one of three initiatives announced by the governing body designed to root out discrimination at all levels. It is to be enforced by all organisations operating under the ECB’s jurisdiction and the disciplinary process for breaches will be announced within months. A new forum for race will provide a confidential channel through which the ECB can listen to and learn from people’s experiences.
