At the briefing, MA Mannan said a total of 10 projects, involving an overall estimated cost of Tk1,00,025.23 crore, were approved. “Of the total project cost, Tk30,466.02 crore will be provided from the government’s fund. While Tk515.84 crore will come from the concerned organizations’ own fund, the rest of Tk69,043.37 crore will come from project assistance,” he added. MA Mannan said the ECNEC meeting informed that the work for the two metro line projects will be completed within the stipulated time frame, and estimated cost. On the other hand, the MRT Line 5 has been divided into two routes- northern and southern.
