Share:ISLAMABAD - Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is set to hold phase-wise local government elections in KP in November 2021. The ECP in its meeting chaired by CEC Sikandar Sultan Raja directed the KP government to provide final schedule of LG elections by October 14. During briefing the CEC was informed that officials of the KP government in the last hearing held on September 21 had said that phase-wise LG elections would be held in the province in November 2021. The ECP officials told CEC that ECP was ready to hold LG government elections in KP, but the provincial government was not serious in the matter. The ECP also urged the concerned officials to hold new delimitation in accordance with the details of census recently published by the government.
