FILE- Employees in the EGX following performance of the trading sessionCAIRO – 10 October 2021: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) started week in green, adding around LE 2.8 billion to market capitalization, amid Egyptian and Arab purchases. The equally weighted index EGX 50 rose 0.41 percent, or 9.23 points, to end at 2,277.88 points. The small and mid-cap index EGX 70 increased 0.07 percent, or 1.81 points, to close at 2,664.62 points, and the broader index EGX 100 climbed 0.17 percent, or 6.25 points, to close at 3,614.87 points. Market capitalization gained around LE 2.8 billion, recording LE 701.81 billion, compared to LE 699.01 billion in Wednesday’s session. EGX ended Wednesday on mixed note, as: EGX30 hiked 0.99 percent, while EGX 50 slid 0.15 percent, EGX 70 rose 0.17 percent, and EGX 100 climbed 0.16 percent.
