Kent Babb, Kareem Copeland, Chuck Culpepper, Robert Klemko, Tom Schad and Ben Strauss will all join ESPN in the coming weeks. Klemko will focus on sports‑related crimes, investigations and major scandals at ESPN, working mostly in the investigative wing of the larger unit. Schad, who covered the Commanders at the Washington Post, will be a general assignment reporter, focused on enterprise, quick-turn, investigative and data journalism. The six reporters’ work will appear across ESPN platforms, including ESPN.com, the ESPN App, “SportsCenter,” ESPN Audio podcasts and additional programming.
