Essential workers like medical staff should only be required to take a Covid-19 test while transport staff should be exempted from testing or quarantine requirements, the recommendations add. More than 50 countries including most EU members, India, Canada, Hong Kong and many others have banned arrivals from the U.K. while the U.S. government has also reportedly been mulling similar measures.
