Photo CA's FacebookDHAKA, Jan 14, 2026 (BSS) - European Union Election Observation Missions (EU EOM) members, who are now in Bangladesh to observe the upcoming parliamentary polls, met Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Professor Ali Riaz and briefed him about their monitoring plan. During the meeting, the EU Election Observation Missions officials briefed him on their objectives and monitoring plans. The EU EOM officials further stated that from January 17, 56 long-term observers will be deployed across Bangladesh. Speaking at the meeting, Prof Ali Riaz said that the government would extend all necessary cooperation to the European Union Election Observation Missions in carrying out their monitoring activities.
