Leading New Zealand musical theatre writer Luke Di Somma makes his Melbourne debut at the MC Showroom in September with a cabaret of his own material – EVERYTHING AND NOTHING – The Songs of Luke Di Somma. Di Somma trained at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, and has called Melbourne home for nearly four years. Di Somma:I am thrilled to be making my cabaret debut in Naarm, and to bring my songs together with such an extroardong cast of actors, some of whom are my Kiwi mates from Aotearoa. EVERYTHING AND NOTHING – The Songs of Luke Di Somma features original songs penned by Di Somma over the last few years – ruminations on love, home and some of the quirkier aspects of the strange times we live in. The show features some of Australasia’s best singing talent, and promises to be a hilarious and heartbreaking ‘night at the cabaret.
