A moderate earthquake measuring 5.0 on Richter scale struck Nepal around 8 am on Friday. According to the Indian Met Department, the earthquake hit Nepal at 8:21 am at the depth of 10 km. The tremors was reported two days after a strong earthquake shook north India on Wednesday. A 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck Uttrakhand's Rudraprayag. The earthquake struck the region at 20:49 (08:49 pm) at a depth of 30 KM, according to the IMD's National Seismological Centre.
