His father, Oscar Perez, is shown in a traditional Chilean cowboy chamanto — poncho — riding his horse, Golosino and operating the Halter software from Osorno, Chile. Mr Perez said his father was naturally nervous about being a ‘‘superstar’’ on video and becoming the first person in Chile to use Halter from 9000km away. The dairy farm had 1000 cows and the Halter technology was introduced in May.
