Noted economist Dr Rajiv Kumar is set to become the new vice chairman of NITI Aayog. Kumar replaces Arvind Panagariya who stepped down from the post of vice chairman last week. According to CPR, Dr Kumar holds a DPhil in economics from Oxford and a PhD from Lucknow University. Apart from Kumar, Vinod Paul, a doctor by professsion, has been appointed member of NITI Aayog.
