The Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Al-Hwej, held a meeting with the Chairman and members of the Preparatory Committee for the First Investment Partnership Conference 2024: “Libya’s Future, Opportunities and Investment”. The event is organized by the Libyan (state) Company for the Management of Participation Projects with the Private Sector. The map of the projects targeted to be presented at the conference were also reviewed. Variety of investment projectsThe Minister pointed out the importance of including the “Benghazi-Chad” transit trade route project, and the infrastructure development projects for airports in Tripoli, Benghazi, Sebha, and Misrata. He also highlighted ports, solar energy projects, and oil refineries to develop and diversify the economy.
