When asked about a potential breakaway Super League last October, Woodward distanced United from being involved in the project. Several clubs who are forming the breakaway European Super League have now followed suit including United, Arsenal, Spurs, AC Milan and Inter. ‘I’m a Manchester United fan and have been for 40 years of my life but I’m disgusted, absolutely disgusted. ‘I’m disgusted with Manchester United and Liverpool the most.
