Proprietors and directors of the Riara Group of Schools and the Riara University, this couple is an educational powerhouse. Born July 13, 1936, Eddah Wacheke took education very seriously with the help and encouragement of her late father. An alumnus of various reputable institutions such as Alliance Girls, Makerere University, Nairobi University and Leeds University, Eddah excelled in her career as an educationalist. A mother of four, her children have excelled in their own respective fields, Suzanne Opembe (formerly Suzanne Kibukosya) is a renowned Afro-jazz musician.
