A winner of the Edmonton Oilers' 50/50 contest is unlikely to be named until next week, the Oilers Entertainment Group announced on Friday. The Oilers organization said that along with their technology service provider Ascend Fundraising Solutions they contacted all of the 50/50 raffle contestants over the past week. This update comes after entrants in the Oilers' online 50/50 contest were charged for more tickets than they intended to purchase in last Friday's record-breaking raffle. Fans were met with error messages when they tried to buy raffle tickets. The pot of this 50/50 contest reached $15.2 million, according to the company's website.
