Two days after an education ministry staff mysteriously disappeared from Dhaka’s Banani, Md Motaleb Hossain, the personal officer (PO) of Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid, has now gone missing. Tofayel told the Dhaka Tribune that Motaleb lived at the government quarter in Green Road. He had gone to West Dhanmondi Housing on Saturday to inspect the construction work of a building on the land he owns. “Motaleb had no enemies and there is no feud over the ownership of the land at West Dhanmondi Housing. On Thursday afternoon, Nasir Uddin, an upper division clerk of the ministry, went missing from Banani, according to his family members.
