A circular in this regard will be issued soon, said ministry officials. Earlier on May 27, the government decided to keep all educational institutions in the country closed until June 15 due to the ongoing pandemic. Confirming the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Sunday, Primary and Mass Education Secretary Md Akram-al-Hossainon, said: “To ensure the safety of our children, the existing closure of schools and colleges across the country will be extended till June 30. On April 7, the ministry decided to extend the shutdown till the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. Due to the situation, the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations, scheduled to start on April 1, were also postponed indefinitely.
