The Higher Committee for the Management of the Coronavirus Crisis on Monday issued new reopening decisions across Egypt. Cabinet Spokesperson Nader Saad said that the committee has approved several decisions to be implemented from September 21. -The committee also approved the return of second-class football training, and allowed sports facilities to reopen training and recreational swimming pools. Overall, Zayed said that compared to 20 other countries Egypt has managed to maintain a low rate of the virus’s spread. Regarding occupancy rates in the 21 quarantine hospitals across Egypt, Zayed said patients on ventilator had a 13 percent occupancy rate, internal units had a 14 percent occupancy rate and intensive care units had a 47 percent occupancy rate.
