CAIRO - 17 September 2021: Egyptian Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki has witnessed the final phase of “Bright Star 2021” military exercise with participation of military groups of 20 countries at Mohamed Naguib Military Base in Marsa Matrouh. Meanwhile, the multi-tasking fighter jets carried out reconnaissance and aerial bombardment, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement. The exercises were attended by Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Mohamed Farid. Egypt has started its multinational military exercise “Bright Star” on 2 September 2021. Arab countries participating besides Egypt are Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq, Bahrain, Sudan, Morocco, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Tunisia.
