Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty has called on activating the joint Arab defense agreement, and also denied receiving any requests from fellow Arab states for Egypt to intervene in the ongoing Iran war. Abdelatty referred to ongoing efforts within the region to establish new security arrangements, rejecting any attempts to impose ideas from outside the region. The Foreign Minister called on activating the legal frameworks and agreements that have been agreed upon by the Arab states, including the Joint Defense Agreement. Abdelatty warned of the repercussions of the ongoing conflicts in the region, which could lead to widespread chaos. He affirmed that Egypt is discussing all possible scenarios regarding the consequences of the escalating conflict.
