Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry – File photoCAIRO- 1 November 2017: Egypt on Tuesday condemned the terror truck attack that took place in New York city killing eight people and injuring more than ten others.In a statement, the Foreign Ministry offered condolences to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery for those who have injured.The statement asserted Egypt's solidarity with the American people and administration.A man driving a rental truck plowed into pedestrians and cyclists on a jogging and bike path in lower Manhattan in New York City Tuesday afternoon, killing at least eight people and injuring many others in what New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio called a "cowardly act of terror. "The sprawling crime scene runs about 10 blocks along the West Side Highway, a few blocks away from One World Trade Center.
