CAIRO – 24 March 2021: Egypt has expressed its sincere condolences to the State of Niger and the families of the innocent victims in the wake of the brutal terrorist attack that targeted a number of villages in the southwest of the African country. The attack resulted in killing at least 137 people in several villages in Southwestern Niger, according to a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry. Egypt further affirms its deep condemnation of this brutal terrorist act, stressing its solidarity with the State of Niger in confronting all forms of terrorism, violence and extremism.
