CAIRO-26 March 2021: Egypt men’s national team secured a ticket to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled in Cameroon in 2022. The Pharaohs secured a 1-1 draw against Kenta in Nairobi, which was enough to send Hossam El Badry’s men to the Africa Cup of Nations. However, the Pharaohs kept their lead in the first half thanks to Mohamed El Shenawy’s saves. The minutes went on and the home team failed to add another goal and the game ended with a 1-1 draw. Egypt and Comoros, who are leading the group with 9 points each, secured their places in the upcoming AFCON.
