Nineteen Islamist militants accused of carrying out a deadly attack on Christians in Egypt have been killed by police, the interior ministry says. Seven Coptic Christians were killed in an attack on two buses near a monastery in Minya on Friday. It was the latest in a series by extremists on Egypt's Coptic Christian minority. The Coptic Orthodox Church is the main Christian Church in Egypt. The Coptic Church separated from other Christian denominations at the Council of Chalcedon in 451, in a dispute over the human and divine nature of Jesus Christ.
