In a statement, Spokesman for the Health Ministry Khaled Megahed said 73 patients have died from the virus over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 4008. As many as 569 patients were discharged from isolation hospitals after receiving necessary medical care, taking the number of recovered cases to 25544 so far, the spokesman said. The Egyptian Drug Authority announced signing a deal with AstraZeneca to supply the country with the Oxford University's vaccine for COVID-19 without disclosing the number of doses or the delivery date.
