In a statement, Health Ministry Spokesman Khaled Megahed said 52 coronavirus-linked deaths were recorded over the past 24 hours, taking the nationwide death toll to 18,535. As many as 432 cases were discharged from hospitals after receiving the necessary medical care, pushing the total number of recoveries to 277,233, the spokesman added. Assistant Health Minister Khaled Megahed asserted the importance of continuous cooperation with the international organizations to stand against the coronavirus pandemic and provide the vaccine for the citizens.
