CAIRO- 4 February 2022: Egypt would send Lebanon urgent relief aid to face the repercussions it is witnessing recently, announced Egyptian Nevin El-Kabbaj, Vice President of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society and Minister of Social Solidarity on Thursday. The Minister directed the Egyptian Red Crescent and the Ministry to prepare an urgent medical and food aid to Lebanon, according to a statement from the Ministry. The aid includes 100 tons of relief and food items (blankets, mattresses, foodstuffs), and 250 tons of medical supplies (masks and medicines), besides other aid provided by other governmental agencies.
