Egypt won six medals in the World Weightlifting Championships which ended in Anaheim, California, on Wednesday morning, including four gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal. Mohamed Ehab won three gold medals, Sara Samir won one gold medal, and Shaimaa Haridy won one silver medal and one bronze medal. Thailand ranked first, garnering five gold medals, seven silver medals, and three bronze medals. Iran came second with five gold medals, three silver medals and six bronze medals. Georgia came third with five gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal, while Vietnam ranked fourth with four gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal.
