CAIRO – 20 March 2021: Egyptian Minister of Tourism Khaled el-Anani met with a group of investors in Taba city to discuss problems facing them, and find mechanisms of stimulating domestic tourism in the city. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, met with a group of Taba investors, in the presence of Ghada Shalaby, Deputy Minister for Tourism Affairs, and Ahmed Al-Wasif, President of the Egyptian Federation of Tourist Chambers. This meeting came to listen to the problems facing these investors and their opinions and proposals to boost tourism development in the city, and discuss mechanisms to revitalize the internal tourism movement. The meeting further discussed ways to return Taba to its previous status, as it was years ago. The minister also referred to the initiatives, decisions, procedures, exemptions, incentives and support granted by the state to support the tourism sector and its workers since the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic crisis until now.
