ShareBuguard, an Egypt-based firm focusing on offensive security and dark web monitoring, has received $500,000 in early funding. Initiated by Youssef Mohamed in 2021, Buguard’s consulting roster boasts senior offensive security engineers and skilled security analysts. The startup offers various offensive security services, including threat intelligence, red teaming, phishing simulations, compromise evaluations, penetration tests, and vulnerability analyses. Cybercriminals often exploit the dark web, an obscured part of the internet, to disseminate malware that captures usernames, passwords, and credit card details.
