The Egyptian Consul General visited Egyptian inmates at the Tripoli Main Correction and Rehabilitation Institution to review their conditions and provide legal and consular services in line with international agreements, according to the Ministry of Justice. The ministry said the visit was carried out under the directives of Justice Minister Halima Ibrahim, as part of efforts to facilitate consular access to nationals serving prison sentences in Libya and to check on their well-being. It added that enabling such visits reflects its commitment to ensuring proper treatment for all inmates and upholding human rights, in line with its responsibilities.
