An Egyptian national is admitted to hospital with multiple gunshots after a confrontation with gunmen in Kabete, Nairobi. This prompted a scuffle as the victims resisted the robbery prompting one of the thugs to open fire. Meanwhile, a man was arrested after he was shot and seriously wounded in the leg in a confrontation with police along Pumwani Road. Police said they shot at the group to arrest them but they managed to escape. There has been an increase in violent crimes in parts of the city as gangs attack for valuables and cash.
