CAIRO – 25 February 2021: Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki concluded his visit to the UAE Wednesday as he had held a number of meetings on the sidelines of the International Defense Exhibition and Conference 2021 (IDEX 2021). Zaki met with Emirati Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohammed al-Bawardi hailing the level of organization of the event in spite of COVID-19. The minister lauded the Gulf state for producing advanced defense equipment supplied with high-tech technology that can compete globally. The Ministry of State for Military Production and the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) are participating in the International Defense Exhibition and Conference 2021 (IDEX 2021) held in Abu Dhabi on February 21-25. The defense equipment produced by the military production companies are exhibited in the Egyptian pavilion.
