The holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of the Muslims, will be celebrated in Bangladesh on Monday after the Shawal moon was sighted this Sunday evening. All preparations for holding the Eid congregations have already been completed across the country. Five Eid congregations will be held at the Baitul Muqarram National Mosque – at 7 am, 8 am, 9 am, 10 am and 10.45 am. The country’s biggest Eid congregation of the country will be held on Sholakia Eidgha Maidan in Kishorganj. Law enforcement agencies, including Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and police, will ensure security in and around the Eid congregations.
