After Eid prayers in mosques and makeshift outdoor venues, Muslims in the port city and nearby areas are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr by exchanging greetings of 'Eid Mubarak'. Another main Eid Jamaat was held at 8:30 a.m. at the MA Aziz Stadium Gymnasium ground under the initiative of the Central Eid Jamaat Committee. Eid Jamaat was held at about 90 places in the city under the initiative of the Eid Jamaat Committee. Eid Jamaat was organized at various mosques and locations in the city under the supervision of Chattogram City Corporation. Devotees offered Eid prayers at places like Laldighi Shahi Jame Masjid, Hazrat Sheikh Farid (R.) Chashma Eidgah Mosque, and Chawkbazar.
