Eight drivers have been accused of trying to take advantage of one of New York City’s scarcest resources: the parking spot. The city’s Department of Investigation and Manhattan district attorney’s office said Tuesday the accused drivers were arrested and charged with attempting to use fake parking placards to get out of parking tickets.
