Eight Nigerian women have been arrested for alleged involvement in prostitution after police raided a house in Kufra district, Libya. According to Migrant Rescue Watch, police raided a house in Kufra district and arrested the women on charges of prostitution. “Police following an investigation and Public Prosecutor’s warrant raided a house in Kufra and arrested nine migrants including 8 females of Nigerian nationality on charges of prostitution. WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that security forces have arrested nine Nigerian nationals after raiding a brothel allegedly run by a gang of African migrants in a private apartment in Benghazi, Libya. Migrant Rescue Watch, which disclosed this in a tweet on Monday, September 26, 2022, said the raid was carried out on Saturday.
