The countrywide yellow temperature and ice warning that was in place lifted at 10am, as icy conditions led to dangerous driving conditions in some places. There will be some treacherous conditions, with the ice, followed by that heavy rain and possibly sleet and snow in the Northwest as well." There will be highest temperatures in the early afternoon of 2C to 6C before turning milder in the southwest. Looking ahead to the rest of next week, there will be unsettled conditions with further spells of rain and showers.
