Thailand needs to adapt, and Mr Ekniti termed his policy approach "Target, Transition and Transform". "Many countries have already allowed oil prices to float in line with the market, and even oil-producing nations have ended subsidies," said Mr Ekniti. Regarding transition, the energy crisis should accelerate Thailand's shift to clean energy, said Mr Ekniti.
