The government spokesperson took cue from Interior Cabinet Secretary Kindiki Kithure, indicating that the State will obtain approval from both houses of Parliament before deploying in Haiti. ''That a conservatory order is hereby issued restraining the respondents from deploying police officers to Haiti or any other country until October 24, 2023,'' Justice Mwita ordered. Isaac Mwaura was recently appointed government spokesperson in a recent cabinet shake-up by President Ruto.
