El Paso recently found itself in the top half of a list of cities with the worst drivers in the nation. Forbes published a study on its website on Feb. 8, comparing drivers in the 50 most populated U.S. cities across five metrics, and El Paso came in at number 20 for worst drivers. The five metrics that Forbes considered included total crashes, deadly crashes, distracted driving, drunk driving and speeding. According to Forbes, fatal car crashes have been on the rise nationwide in recent years, increasing by nearly 10 percent between 2020 and 2022.
