A 79-year-old male patient confirmed with the coronavirus infections died last night at Tseung Kwan O Hospital. The latest death takes the tally in Hong Kong to 56. The Hospital Authority said that the patient, with chronic illness, admitted to the hospital on July 27 due to persistent cough and fever. His condition deteriorated due to respiratory failure. He was transferred to Intensive Care Unit on August 2 and died at 11:19pm last night.
