As of April 1, 2026, Musk’s net worth stands at $817 billion, according to Forbes on Friday. Despite the loss, Musk remains more than three times wealthier than his closest competitor, Google cofounder Larry Page, whose fortune fell by $20 billion to $237 billion. Musk, 54, first became the world’s richest person in September 2021 and has intermittently held the top spot since then.
