GettyElvis Costello & The Imposters and Debbie Harry-fronted band Blondie will co-headline a tour through North America this summer. Kicking off on July 20, 2019 in Bethel, NY, the 13-city tour will make stops across the country through August 10, ending its run in Seattle, Washington. On the surface, the pairing might appear to be an odd one, but the musical gurus actually share some history: Four decades ago, both Costello and Blondie's albums landed on the top three UK Album chart. Harry and Costello have also performed together on a 1996 Jazz Passengers album. Some partnerships bank on similar musical genres, like Blondie and rock band Garbage's 2017 co-headlining tour, while others work across them, like Tony Bennett's and Lady Gaga's critically acclaimed Cheek to Cheek Tour, in support of their eponymous 2014 album.
