The head of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations at Embakasi in Nairobi Simon Mutia Mwongela was Thursday arrested after he was involved in a fatal shooting. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) is said to have been engaged in an altercation with a night guard at a club and lodging prompting Mwongela to shoot. Mwongela later started to say he could not locate his car. It later turned his claims were not true. They later learnt the guard on duty was lying in a pool of blood.
