(CNN) At least two separate shootings early Sunday in downtown Austin, Texas have caused several injuries and claimed the life of a woman in her 30s, according to the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services. According to Austin Police there are "separate shootings within the same area. Authorities are urging people to stay away from the downtown area. There are multiple victims with gunshot wounds at 208 East 6th Street, EMS says. Austin police had earlier referred to the event as an "active shooter incident" in a tweet.
