Emily Steel and Daniel Jerome Hoevel were married July 28 at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic, Conn. Joseph B. De Mott, ordained through the American Marriage Ministries for the occasion and a maternal uncle of the bride, officiated. She is the daughter of Catherine De Mott Steel and Richard B. Steel of East Lyme, Conn. Mr. Hoevel, 31, is a vice president for capital raising and investor relations in the Manhattan office of Silver Lake, a technology investment firm.
